Developing scalable parallel applications has long been a specialty field. The recent "right-hand turn" of the Computer industry towards multicore and Cluster platforms puts the art of creating, debugging and optimizing parallel applications into center stage of the SW industry. This talk presents the full range of Intel's SW development tools that focus on the parallel SW development life cycle and support the shared-memory (threading) or distributed-memory (message passing) paradigms.
